klonimy works without public accounts. We ask for information only when it lets us answer a research request or reply to a message — and we say plainly what happens to it.
We keep the site deliberately thin. In practice that means three small categories, and nothing beyond them.
We do not ask for sensitive information. Please do not send health, financial, government, or other sensitive details through a research request or contact form.
Submitted details are used to review your request and reply to you, and — only if you asked for it — to send the newsletter. Usage events tell us which parts of the service are actually useful, so we can improve them instead of guessing.
We do not build advertising profiles, we do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Only the people and services needed to operate klonimy:
Affiliate tracking means a seller may see that a link was clicked and what was purchased, as part of their own analytics. That happens on their side, not as a result of anything we share about you.
Research requests and contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and to handle any follow-up question. Newsletter subscriptions stay until you unsubscribe. Server logs are rotated out on a short, fixed cycle.
You can ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time, and we will do it.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural tracking. Affiliate links are tagged by the network so a sale can be attributed, which is standard practice and does not let them follow you around the web.
klonimy is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 — if that happens, contact us and we will remove it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain uses of it. We honour these regardless of where you are. To make a request, contact us and we will respond.
Our broader terms are on the terms of use page, and how we earn from links is explained in the affiliate disclosure. If anything in this policy is unclear, ask us — we would rather explain it than leave you guessing.
